Best Hotel I have stayed at in Leeds!

I have been staying in Leeds for over 20 years and have tried a huge cross section including all of the major chain hotels. This week I tried the 4 star Weetwood. Having had two daughters at Leeds University over the last 10 years visits to Leeds, both on business and for family have been many.

I booked directly with the hotel which was quick and simple. On arriving at the hotel there was ample and free parking(not the case with a lot of Leeds hotels) Check-in was quick and simple and I had been selected as “Guest of the Day” this meant a free upgrade to a superior room, a welcome note in the room, a large bowl of fruit, and a Pod coffee making machine.

Room was excellent and very spacious, bathroom modern warm and dry. We decided to eat in the restaurant. As guest of the day we were given our first drink with compliments of the house.

Dinner was excellent with complimentary breads and water. Excellent, food, service, ambiance. Breakfast was equally as good with an extensive choice of fresh fruits, pastries eggs cooked to order you could not fault it.

I can’t believe I have spent so many nights in Leeds and not stayed at the Weetwood! Mid range price for a luxury hotel in Leeds.

Fantastic place to stay

Beautiful grounds and real fantastic hotel. Staff were really lovely and helpful. when booked wasn’t aware it had a beautiful pub on site which was a bonus. Followed by a meal in the restaurant on site. Food was amazing. Breakfast was a buffet and was great. Overall an amazing stay. Highly recommend.

The perfect place to celebrate our Wedding.

We held our wedding at Weetwood Hall on 29th December 2021. From the very start of planning our wedding journey, to the moment our last guest left the hotel, everything was perfect.

The whole team, from Joanne, who organised our special day, to the whole team on the day, everything and everyone were so professional, friendly and hard working we could not fault any minute.

As the hotel was officially closed, we had the whole hotel to ourselves. We arrived the day before and check in for everyone was smooth and quick. The guys all went out on the stag party, so we Ladies, spent the night in the hotel bar. It was so relaxing. Like having a big pyjama party. I had arranged for pizza and chips for everyone and this was really nice and there was loads of it. We had music on and our bartender, sorry I can’t remember his name, was so good. We had a really great night.

As the Bride, I felt especially looked after. Everyone was so attentive and intent on making our day very special. Everything was planned to perfection, and whilst there may have been some issues behind the scenes, none of us, including our guests would have guessed. It was like a very relaxed military operation.

Our food was amazing the wines were lovely and the service fantastic.

Thompson Towers did the decorating of the rooms and I would highly recommend. Very professional from start to finish.

We had the ceremony and our wedding breakfast in the Manor House. It was beautiful and very intimate. Exactly what we wanted. Our Evening reception was held in the Lawnswood room, and again it was a great room with lots if atmosphere.

From start to finish we could not fault anything. Thank you to everyone at Weetwood Hall for making our day so special and unforgettable, both for us and our guests.

A beautiful hotel within a relaxed environment

Came to stay at the Weetwood for a family event. The hotel is a wonderful structure with a quiet area, ideal for a bit of TLC and reading. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and large bathroom. The breakfast was gorgeous and varied. Plus you have the hotel bar and Stable pub so you have multiple drinking choices. Overall a beautiful hotel and ideal if your looking to get away from the hussle and bustle of city life.

Great venue and lovely team. Really accommodating

Thank you kindly for congratulating us we had the best day ever at Weetwood from the wedding ceremony to the wedding breakfast and how the staff had our bottles of prosecco chilled and the bottles of beer and wine outside the Jacobean Room. We didn’t expect that and nice surprise and the service given by the staff serving drinks to our guests. We are so very impressed with everybody who made our day very special at Weetwood. And the Italian gentle man who not only took care of me from giving me a glass of prosecco and being there for me to calm my nerves before I walked down the isle and making our day very special and perfect. And doing the music for us through the service please let him know how happy i am and how at ease he made me feel and getting rid of my nerves on the day. The food was amazing and the service given. Thank you each and everyone of you for everything and helping us at such short notice and giving us everything we wanted from the food drinks and the extra special day we had and room 100 is amazing.
