Weetwood Hall Conference Centre and Hotel has been awarded the title of ‘Top Team’ in front of hundreds of its peers at the annual Leeds Hotels and Venues Awards, celebrating the work of staff in the hospitality sector.
The winners were announced at a black tie dinner on Thursday, June 27th 2013, with Weetwood Hall seeing off competition from 17 of the City’s other hotels to be crowned the number one team – an award which recognises the Hotel staff’s talent, dedication and commitment to customer service.
The Leeds Hotels and Venues Awards is now in its sixth year and draws together the members of the region’s hospitality sector; ranging from budget through to five-star hotels and venues.
Michael Longstaff, General Manager at Weetwood Hall said: “We as a team are very proud of what we have achieved in recent years and this is a further endorsement of the hard work and dedication of the team.

Collectively, the Leeds Hotels and Venues Association (LHVA), which hosts the awards, represents those businesses which provide 5,000 of the City’s bedrooms, employs 3,500 staff and turns over £170 million each year.
