A Guide To Where We Source Our Food From

In a year we have moved from a negligible amount of our food being regionally sourced to approximately 65% now sourced from Yorkshire & The Humber.

Weetwood Hall is a member of the Yorkshire & Humber, Regional Food Group and is committed to working with local suppliers.

Our meat is sourced from the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company. The majority of the beef is from their Aberdeen Angus bull with Limousin and Aberdeen Angus cows and are fed on a diet of barley and beans grown on the farm. Their excellent animal husbandry results in consistently full flavoured meat.

The eggs are "Lion Code Quality" accredited and are supplied from Field Farm Eggs of York and K Fresh Ltd of Carr Farm, Withernsea, East Yorkshire.

Cryer & Stott, family cheesemongers of Castleford is where we purchase range of cheeses including Wensleydale and Ribblesdale. Their aim is to be the premier merchant of Yorkshire cheese and produce.

The milk that we purchase comes from T. D. Goodall of Beedgrove Farm, Scarcroft, Leeds.

Blended and packed in the Yorkshire Tea Hall in Harrogate, the home of good tea and served in Woodlands and the Brasserie.

One of the beverage stations in the conference centre is dedicated to Serving "Fair Trade" products.

Jams, lemon curd and Yorkshire blossom honey is supplied by The Fruity Kitchen of York. They are all free of artificial additives.
