A Guide To Where We Source Our Food From

"Where possible I am committed to cooking with regionally sourced food from Yorkshire and the Humber and the objective for my suppliers is to further explain the story from field to plate". Jon Coxon, Head Chef, Weetwood Hall.

Weetwood Hall is a member of the Yorkshire & Humber, Regional Food Group and is committed to working with local suppliers.

Our meat is sourced from the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company. The majority of the beef is from their Aberdeen Angus bull with Limousin and Aberdeen Angus cows fed on a diet of barley and beans grown on the farm. Their excellent animal husbandry results in consistently full flavoured meat.

Our eggs are "Lion Code Quality" accredited, supplied from Field Farm Eggs of York and K Fresh Ltd of Carr Farm, Withernsea, East Yorkshire.

Cryer & Stott, family cheesemongers of Castleford supply a range of cheeses including Wensleydale, Ribblesdale and their own Ruby Gold of Wakefield which has rhubarb between.

All our dairy products are sourced from JE & Son Oversby of Townhead Dairies, Skipton on Swale, Grassington, North Yorkshire.

Blended and packed in the Yorkshire Tea Hall in Harrogate, the home of good tea and served in Woodlands and the Brasserie.

One of the beverage stations in the conference centre is dedicated to Serving "Fair Trade".

Jams, lemon curd and Yorkshire blossom honey is supplied by The Fruity Kitchen of York. They are all free of artificial additives.
Wellocks of Colne supply our fruit and vegetables. They buy direct from the producers and take that individual story direct to the chefs. When you put it all together the range is second-to-none in both size and quality. It gives us the edge, "the perfect ingredient".
Sailbrand have supplied fresh fish from their Huddersfield premises for over 30 years. With a network of representatives in every UK fishing port and international business partners around the world, they can source almost any variety of fresh fish for us.
