Conference organisers and trainers will from now on be able to benefit from our newly refurbished Lawnswood Suite - offering 174 square metres of comfortable meeting and event space, equipped with the most up-to-date audio-visual equipment and facilities.
The Lawnswood Suite is just a part of our significant offering of 37 conference and seminar rooms, and seats up to 200 delegates theatre-style or 120 cabaret-style. Its accessible ground-floor location gives plenty of natural daylight, and the suite leads out on to the attractive patio. The space also benefits from comfort cooling and natural daylight.
The Lawnswood Suite has a raised presentation stage, and features a 1.5x2.5m widescreen DVD console, a VHS player, three laptop connections and an auxiliary connection, a ceiling-mounted data projector, and an iMAC computer connection with easy-to-navigate control panel.
Additional plasma screens are arranged along the length of the suite for enhanced viewing, and a state-of-the-art stereo sound system features eight voice-enhanced radio/wired microphones. The suite's video broadcast facility links to another conference room, seating up to 150 delegates theatre-style, and the space offers full ADSL connectivity and wi-fi.
The Lawnswood Suite's smart break-out area also offers wi-fi, and is a relaxing space for delegates to meet and network. It also offers enough floor space for exhibition displays, and plenty of natural daylight.
Weetwood Hall's 37 conference and seminar rooms include an extensive number of seminar/syndicate rooms. The hotel's conference facilities offer dedicated business reception services, a team of conference porters, and a Trainer's Room where organisers can access the web and work on their presentations.
