The perfect venue for 11-a-side, 7 a-side or 5-a-side football competitions or training. The University of Leeds Weetwood Playing Fields regularly holds football competitions of all levels and currently hosts the annual WorldNet soccer tournament with over 72 teams participating.   In addition to the fantastic grass pitches the University has a 3G artificial surface which can accommodate a full sized 11-a-side game or be separated into smaller 7-a-side pitches and two further artificial pitches which can also be separated for 7-a-side games.   17 grass pitches (11-a-side) 1 high quality grass pitch – regularly used by professional teams for training 3G artificial rubber crumb pitch with floodlights (11-a-side) 2 artificial sand dressed pitches with floodlights 6 artificial 5-a-side courts with floodlights    Rugby  Cricket  Hockey  Other facilities  Sports home page
