A wedding venue that dates back centuries

Our stunning Manor House is located to the rear of the property. With stone mullioned windows dating back to around 1540, when the site was home to an ancient farm, our Manor House is the oldest part of the Weetwood Hall estate.

If you are looking for an old and characterful venue to host a memorable civil ceremony wedding, our ancient Manor House would be the perfect spot to enjoy a wedding in the most inspiring of ancient settings.

A venue laden with elegance and originality

Elegance and originality are at the heart of our stunning Manor House. This Grade II listed building boasts many of its original features, including stone mullioned windows, an imposing open fire in the entrance hall, and the lions’ head cartouche ceilings.

These stunning original features will craft an atmospheric, timeless and elegant feel to your wedding, not to mention look fantastic in the background of your wedding photos!

Choose between our Jacobean and Weetwood Rooms

When hiring out our Manor House for your wedding in Leeds, you have the choice of having either of two function rooms – the splendid grandeur of the Jacobean Room or our delightful Weetwood Room.

Our stunning and spacious Jacobean Room can seat up to 80 guests for a civil wedding ceremony. Furthermore, up to 54 guests can enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast in the comfortable surrounds of our beautiful Jacobean Room.

Or, if you are looking for a more intimate venue for a civil ceremony, partnership, or another special occasion, our atmospheric Weetwood Room in the Manor House can accommodate up to 54 guests in comfort for your civil wedding ceremony.

Add your personal touch to our Manor House function rooms

Both of our delightful function rooms can be adorned in flowers, candles and coordinated with a colour scheme of your choice. Chair cover and sashes can also be placed within the rooms, for  personalised, glamorous and unforgettable wedding décor.

Our Manor House has a total of 14 bedrooms, steeped in comfort and charm. For that extra special wedding night, the bride and groom can stay in one of our two exceptionally special four poster bedrooms.

Asides the fabulous internal wedding photographs taken inside our beautiful Manor House function rooms, the bride and groom can enjoy stepping outside into Weetwood Hall’s impressive gardens and grounds, where an emerald lawn, flourishing floras and dense woodland will craft a perfect backdrop for wedding photos to be remembered in many years to come.
