Not arranged New Year’s Eve yet? Five fabulous New Year’s Eve activities in Leeds

In the chaos of getting ready for Christmas, it’s easy to forget about the next big social event in your calendar – New Year’s Eve.

Just like Christmas, NYE is something that needs a little forward planning, as events you might want to go to may sell out quickly and all your friends and family may have made other arrangements.

However, if you’ve not yet nailed down your NYE plans, don’t panic – here are 5 of the best New Year’s Eve events in Leeds:

Weetwood Hall. There’s a real treat waiting for you if you stay at Weetwood Hall this New Year’s Eve, with fine dining, elegant entertainment and fantastic four-star accommodation. The four-course menu for the evening includes only the finest dishes, ideal for celebration – from smoked salmon and foie gras to rack of lamb, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. The fizz will be flowing, there’s a Michael Bublé tribute to enjoy after dinner and plenty of great value overnight packages to choose from. It’s looking set to be a memorable night!

Mono_cult NYD 2016… The Last Dance. This is not only the last Mono_cult party of 2015, but the last one ever – so it’s bound to be incredibly popular. Held at Canal Mills in Leeds, the party carries on until 5am with some of the biggest names in the business, including Bicep, Nina Kraviz, Midland and John Talabot.

The Roxy Ball Room. If you like your nights out packed full of fun and games, this is the venue for you. With pool, ping pong, mini golf and beer pong, there’s plenty to get stuck into – plus beers, cocktails, a great atmosphere and even free pizza between 8pm and 10pm. Let’s have some fun and silliness this New Year!

A Nation of Shopkeepers. For something completely unique, head to Cookridge Street in Leeds this New Year’s Eve where local art group I Am Collective have teamed up with A Nation of Shopkeepers to throw a NYE party with a difference. It’s a blast from the past, where you’re transported back to 1986 with all the best tunes from the ‘80s.

Leeds Town Hall. Where better than the majestic town hall in the heart of the city to ring in the start of a brand new year? The Town Hall is hosting a refined evening of classical music and dancing, with a celebration of the Viennese whirl (the dance) featuring the works of Johan Strauss II and Franz Lehar, beautifully performed by the Orchestra of Opera North led by John Rigby. The bubbly will be flowing and the venue gorgeously decorated – setting the stage for a memorable night.

Even if you haven’t made your plans for NYE yet, there’s still time! If you plan to stay at Weetwood Hall this New Year’s Eve 2015, get in touch to book your tickets and accommodation, because places are bound to fill up fast.
