Need to book a large table in Leeds? How Weetwood Hall can cater for large groups of diners

Dining out in a large group can be the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, from birthday parties to weddings and anniversaries. However, not all restaurants can cope with large numbers of diners, leading to inefficient service, cramped seating and the party being split up. Needless to say, this is not the way to celebrate a special occasion.

At Weetwood Hall, we actually specialise in private dining for large groups. Not only do we provide delicious menus to suit all tastes, but we also have that all-important space for groups of all sizes to dine in comfort and in a very social atmosphere. Here are just a few of the options available if you’re thinking of booking a large table for a special occasion – all you need to decide is what size of space you need…

The Boardroom (up to 12 people)

This space is ideal for smaller, intimate birthday parties, offering seating for up to 12 people around a beautiful mahogany table.

The Weetwood Room (up to 27 people)

This elegant room is often used for medium-sized gatherings, such as leaving and retirement parties, as well as Christmas parties and landmark birthdays.

The Jacobean Room (up to 54 people)

If you’re looking for social group dining in a spacious, contemporary setting with personalised service, the Jacobean Room is ideal for you and up to 53 of your guests.

The Lawnswood Suite (up to 130 people)

This recently refurbished space is ideal for a social function, wedding or corporate event.  Offering contemporary lighting systems to match your moods, an events setting can alter the mood of the lighting to create a more intimate experience.

The Woodlands Suite (up to 200 people)

This hugely popular group dining area has all the space your need to throw a huge party, or to celebrate a wedding. It can accommodate up to 200 people comfortably and offers a wide choice of delicious cuisine, from breakfast to a three-course Sunday lunch. The Woodlands Suite also specialises in providing an energising conference lunch for business diners, to help with attentiveness and alertness in afternoon meetings.

The Conservatory, Italian Gardens and Stables Pub courtyard

If you’re looking for a more informal private dining experience and you’re lucky enough to get sunny weather, Weetwood Hall has the perfect setting. The conservatory looks out on charming Italian gardens, offering an intimate space for smaller parties with the beauty of the outdoors at your fingertips. If you have a larger party and want to eat outdoors in relaxed surroundings, we have another solution – the cobbled courtyard adjacent to the Stables Pub.

Why not stay overnight?

The fantastic thing about dining at Weetwood Hall, as opposed to eating in Leeds restaurants elsewhere, is that it also offers comfortable, modern accommodation. So, if you really want to make an occasion of it, why not book rooms for your guests? You can carry on the celebrations in the Brasserie residents’ bar and retire to your rooms at the end of the day, rather than experiencing the headache of arranging transport to get everyone home again.
